“A girl series”
Every face tells a story…. As an artist Ambika is always on an ongoing quest for finding a higher purpose in life while having fun….The series of ‘A girl‘ is figment of her imagination.
She is inspired by all women who are strong, multi faceted and multi talented. These paintings are somewhere between naivety, realism and imagination .She has tried to capture dramatization of human emotions combined with anxieties of modern day lifestyle.
In these paintings she has tried to push the boundaries of ideal beauty giving them silliness that definitely needs to be celebrated in everyday life.
My mission and vision is to bring light to vulnerable girls. 10% from each painting will be passed on to CGC (concern for the girl child) Uganda.
